Raku glazing is just like “painting with fire”! Pots are removed from the kiln red hot and placed in combustible materials that erupt in flames on contact. The chemical reaction causes patterns that are as unpredictable as they are beautiful! Walk away with at least two bowls! Gallery tours will be conducted between firings connecting what’s on the walls to Lawrence County History.
