Can you figure out who did it?

Alex Crawford Hoyt was rushed to Jameson Hospital after his butler, John Lang, fund him convulsing in his bedroom.  His wife, June, said that he had complained of headache, fatigue and a sour stomach for a few days. Testing revealed high levels of disfuloton in his bloodstream, an insecticide commonly found in rose fertilizer.  Just one teaspoon can be fatal to a 55 lb dog. It is believed that Mr. Hoyt was poisoned and the incident is being treated as a crime.  You are part of an investigative team hired to find who did it and why.
