Mixed media collage artist Harold Maiella describes his art as painting with ephemera. Seemingly random images and objects blend together to create works designed to draw in the viewer. His colorful works include diverse items collected and curated to spark a conversation or represent a mood or feeling.
Born and raised in New Castle, Maiella spent most of his adult life in Southwest Florida and his work has been exhibited at the Art League of Bonita Springs. He recently moved back to the area and has shown work locally at the Hoyt.
