Join us for free summer activities in your neighborhood this summer!
It’s totally free and includes lunch! Activities are ideal for ages 6-13!

In order to allow us to prepare materials, lunches and allow for social distancing, registration is requested.

Fun with Food

Learn where your food comes from, how to plant and grow it, and the best way to fill your plate! Lessons range from crafts to an actual taste testing of locally grown and produced foods!

Lawrence county YMCA

Join “Y on the Fly” for a variety of whole body health activities ranging from portable pickleball, cornhole and coloring to soccer, music and more!

Lawrence County Crisis Shelter

Learn how to build healthy relationships and healthy boundaries through stories, arts & crafts, music and more!
Parents! Sensitive topics such as safe touches may be discussed. If you are uncomfortable, stay with your child or keep him/her at home. The Crisis Shelter is a man­dated reporter.

New Castle Police Department

Think you can best one of our boys (or girls) in blue? Here’s your opportunity to challenge officers to a game of basket­ball, volleyball, badminton or horseshoes! Held 2-3:30 pm at a different park each day!

What happens if it rains?

In the event of rain, the scheduled programs will be cancelled. We’ll make the call by 8 am, send out an e-blast to parents, and post on our partner social media pages. Lunch will be available at the Lawrence County YMCA in downtown New Castle.
