Ages 13-16 meet 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm.

October 19: Mammoth Monsters
Trace your body to create a life-sized monster! We’ll use black sharpie markers to create the detail and crayons for color!

Let’s engineer a simple snow globe from plastic cups! We’ll add snowmen, Christmas trees or other holiday/winter imagery on the inside before sealing.

January 18: Whimsical Wooden Snowman
Build a freestanding snowman from wood then bring him to life with paint and hand-made accessories!

February 22: Faux Stained Glass Windows
Mimic the beauty of a stained glass using with paint! We’ll sponge on the color and use diy puffy paint to outline the sections.

March 14: Cherry Blossom Painting
Celebrate the coming of spring with flowering cherry trees! We’ll start with brushes to form the trunk, use straws to blow out branches and add tissue paper flowers for a textured effect!

April 18: Fabric Garden
April Showers bring May flowers! Use fabric and felt to create flower gardens (that would make wonderful Mother’s Day gifts!).

May 16: Aerial Koi Ponds
We’ll start with a bird’s eye view of a koi pond to create rippling water with tissue paper then paint in our beautiful koi fish!

June 20: Sun Prints (Cyanotypes)
Let’s take advantage of the summer sun to make cyanotypes from found objects! We’ll experiment with the addition of drawing elements on the plexi glass covers while printing more images.
