Wax Resist is the process in ceramics of using a liquid wax to keep glaze from adhering to bisqued work. In this class, we will go over the different applications of wax resist as well as the basics for glazing a piece. As this is a two-week class, students will be given a pre-made and bisqued piece to start. The first class will consist of going over the basics of using the wax resist and helping students get started. The second class will let students finish waxing their pieces and then students will be advised on how to complete their piece with glaze. All materials included.
