2021 marks the 700th anniversary of Italian poet, writer, and philosopher, Dante Alighieri’s death. Known as the “Father” of the Italian language, he is widely considered one of the most important poets of the Middle Ages. This course will explore his greatest literary, the “Divine Comedy”, including selected cantos for reflective reading and discussion. No book is required. Handouts will be available. Capacity: 20 students. Minimum: 4 students. Ages 16+.
