Creative Challenge: Write a Poem or Song

Supplies

  • Paper
  • Pencil
  • Markers/Crayons (optional)

Tips for this Challenge

What inspires you? You could write about anything you like; such as the things around you, your feelings, the people in your life, or something from your imagination!

Write down your ideas and words you’d like to use – start with a draft so you can see your ideas. Consider describing things by making comparisons, using words the rhyme, or even trying to make your audience laugh!

You can always add an illustration to your song or poem too!

Don’t forget to share a photo of your poem with us on our Facebook Page!
