Hoyt Regional Juried Exhibition

DEADLINE: JANUARY 25 Artists are invited to submit electronic entries for the 47th Hoyt Regional Juried Exhibition. Tyler Cann, Curator of Contemporary Art & Head of Exhibitions, Columbus Museum of Art, will select works and award winners for the exhibition. Deadline December 14, 2019 Download Prospectus Dates To Remember Show Dates: January 7 – March 12 , 2020| Public Reception: Thursday, January 9th, from 5 – 7 pm @ the Confluence! Drop Off: by December 14 , 2019 at the Hoyt Pick Up: March 14 – 21 at the Hoyt Guidelines Eligibility: Open to public, private and home-schooled Lawrence County High School students in grades 9-12. Presentation: Two dimensional works should be mounted on black poster board or similar material leaving a one inch border around the four sides of the image. Series, groupings or multiples forming a single entry should be clearly numbered. Please limit submissions to 3 per student! Entry Tags: Two entry tags must be completed for each work. Whether you are interested in applying for a solo exhibition at Arts & Education at the Hoyt or in gaining exposure through our offsite location, please take a minute to review the following guidelines before applying. Eligibility While not necessarily limited to artists age 21+ from the Mid-Atlantic region, preference is given to proposals stemming from Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware and Washington D.C under the following conditions: Applying to Arts & Education at the Hoyt: Selection for exhibition on our main campus is competitive. Artists are typically established and have prior exhibition experience. You must be able to demonstrate mature talent with a consistent body of work.
