Combing glass, stones, wood, fossils, and found objects to form unique three-dimensional pieces. Statement jewelry and sculpture invoke meaning and communicate a specific environmental or social intention, creating dialogue with the viewer. As a lifelong art maker and educator, spanning several decades and four states, I have incorporated experiences from the classroom and beyond. Mentored by many experienced metal smiths at the Appalachian Rock Shop and Contemporary Crafts Museum. In my home studio north of Pittsburgh I use a myriad of tools to manipulate and melt metals in a kiln or with a torch. Memberships; Associated Artists of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh Society of Artists,S.O.S and C.A.N
