DIRECTIONS
FROM THE NORTH/Sharon: Take 60S to the Mitchell exit. Turn right onto 18S towards New Castle. Turn left at Walgreens onto Leasure Avenue.
FROM THE SOUTH/Beaver: Take 60N to Rt422E. Exit at State Street exit onto Rt 224. Follow Rt 224 to downtown New Castle. Make left onto 18N. Turn right at Walgreens onto Leasure Avenue.
FROM THE EAST/Pittsburgh: Take 79N to ext 99/Rt. 422W. Turn left at ramp and follow Rt. 422W into downtown New Castle. Make right onto 18N. Turn right at Walgreens onto Leasure Avenue.
FROM THE WEST/Youngstown: Take Rt. 422E to New Castle. Exit at State Street. Turn left onto State Street/Rt. 224. Follow to downtown New Castle and turn left onto 18N. Follow 18N to Walgreens and turn right onto Leasure Avenue.
PARKING
Parking is on street. Limited handicap parking on site.
ACCESSIBILITY
The entrance and ground level of both houses is handicap accessible. There is an elevator in Hoyt East to access classrooms and restrooms on the other floors. Wheel chair available on request. Please call in advance for special arrangements.
HOURS
The museum is closed on Sundays, Mondays, and national holidays. Please call to confirm programs.
Tuesday & Thursday: 11 am – 8 pm Weds/Fri/Sat:11 am – 4 pm
GIFT SHOP
Open regular museum days from 11 am – 4 pm.
ADMISSION/TOURS
Admission to the galleries is free. Admission to the Period House is $5 for a guided tour. (Members pay $3.) Discounted rates are available for groups of six or more. The last tour of the day is at 3 pm. Reservations are required.
RENTALS
